Made in the Grampian region in Scotland from 100% pure Supersoft Shetland wool, our Fair Isle knits are made for versatility, luxury and rugged romanticism.
The classic Fair Isle pattern infuses a refined splash of light ‘putty’ coloured wool on the collar and cuff of the deep moss green (not charcoal!) sweater and harks back to the culture and heritage in the Northern and North-Eastern Isles of Scotland.
Using a complex and innovative garment technique that produces zero yarn waste, these Scottish knits are seam-free, making them sit snug and streamlined while avoiding the bulky side seams found in most other knits.

The Fit
These sweaters are a regular fit for a jumper or casual knit i.e. they are not designed to be fitted and are therefore true to size however, they are also not a "chunky" knit.
The S is a generous size 10, the M a comfortable 12 and the L, a relaxed 14. If you are usually a 14/16 you will find the L is a great fit. If you are a size 8 the S will be a looser fit.
If you are usually a M or 12, and you'd prefer a slightly more structured look, go for the S. For a more oversized look or to have room for extra layers underneath the M will be fine for those who usually wear a 12.
